SBA flew controversial ‘Appeal to Heaven’ flag linked to far-right and January 6 rioters, sparking outcry over potential theocratic leanings.

Here’s What They Meant to Say

Liberal Tears Flow as ‘Appeal to Heaven’ Flag Flies High

The left-wing media is in a frenzy over a harmless ‘Appeal to Heaven’ flag that briefly graced the skies above the Small Business Administration (SBA) in Washington, D.C. last week. Former Senator Kelly Loeffler, now SBA administrator, dared to participate in a flag-raising ceremony where a new American flag was hoisted, with the ‘Appeal to Heaven’ flag flying just beneath it. The horror! The flag, which has historical roots in the Revolutionary War, has recently been smeared by liberals as a symbol of the far right, the ‘Stop the Steal’ movement, and Christian nationalism. But let’s be clear: it’s a flag, not a weapon of mass destruction. The left’s overreaction is just another example of their ongoing crusade against anything remotely conservative or patriotic.

Jon Lewis from George Washington University’s Program on Extremism had the audacity to claim that seeing the ‘Appeal to Heaven’ flag on a government building should be ‘shocking’ to anyone who doesn’t want to live in a theocracy. Oh, please. The flag’s presence at the January 6 Capitol event doesn’t suddenly make it a symbol of Christian fundamentalism infiltrating our democracy. It’s a historical flag, and its brief display at the SBA is hardly a sign of impending doom. Liberals are so desperate to find something to be offended by that they’ll clutch at any straw, even if it’s a piece of fabric waving in the wind.

Republicans Proudly Display the Flag, Liberals Lose Their Minds

It’s not just Loeffler who has shown support for the ‘Appeal to Heaven’ flag. House Speaker Mike Johnson has proudly displayed it outside his office, and Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito flew it at his vacation home. Yet, both have been unfairly attacked by the left for doing so. Johnson and Alito claimed ignorance of the flag’s association with election deniers, but even if they did know, so what? The flag’s historical significance far outweighs any recent political connotations the left wants to force upon it.

Liberals are quick to cry ‘theocracy’ at any sign of religious expression in public life, yet they turn a blind eye to their own double standards. They celebrate when left-wing politicians and activists push their agendas, but the moment a conservative symbol like the ‘Appeal to Heaven’ flag appears, they scream about separation of church and state. It’s the height of hypocrisy. The left’s selective outrage is nothing new, but it’s particularly egregious when they attack a symbol that represents the very ideals our country was founded upon.

Loeffler’s Patriotic Post Sparks Outrage Among the Easily Offended

Kelly Loeffler took to X to celebrate the flag-raising ceremony, proudly stating that it was a privilege to serve under the Stars and Stripes on behalf of America’s small businesses. She even included a photograph of the ‘Appeal to Heaven’ flag in her post, which remains up despite the left’s tantrums. The left-wing media, predictably, focused on the ‘controversial’ flag rather than the patriotic sentiment behind the ceremony.

Liberals are so desperate to find something to be offended by that they’ll twist any display of patriotism into a sinister plot. They’re more concerned about a flag’s supposed political implications than the fact that Loeffler was celebrating American-made products and the hardworking small business owners who drive our economy. It’s a sad state of affairs when the left can’t even appreciate a simple flag-raising ceremony without turning it into a political battleground.

The Left’s War on Symbols Continues Unabated

This isn’t the first time the left has gone after a conservative symbol. Remember when they tried to cancel the Betsy Ross flag because it was ‘racist’? Or how about their outrage over the Gadsden flag, which they claimed was a symbol of white supremacy? The left’s war on symbols is relentless, and it’s clear they’ll stop at nothing to erase any sign of conservative values from public life.

The ‘Appeal to Heaven’ flag is just the latest victim in their ongoing campaign to demonize anything that doesn’t align with their woke ideology. But we won’t let them win. We’ll continue to proudly display our flags, celebrate our history, and stand up for the values that made America great. The left can cry ‘theocracy’ all they want, but we know the truth: they’re just afraid of a little bit of patriotism.
