More Americans now believe violence may be needed to fix the country, with support rising to 30% from 19% last year.

Here’s What They Meant to Say

Liberal Hypocrisy at Its Finest

In a shocking turn of events, more Americans are apparently ready to trade their yoga mats for pitchforks, claiming violence might be necessary to get the country back on track. According to a recent NPR/PBS News/Marist poll, the number of people who think violence is the answer has jumped from 19% to 30% in just nine months into President Trump’s second term. What’s even more laughable is that Democrats, the party of peace and love, are leading the charge with a rise from 12% to 28%. It’s rich to see the same folks who cry about Trump’s ‘authoritarianism’ now advocating for violence. They’ll do anything to undermine a duly elected president, even if it means turning our streets into a battleground.

One Democrat from Florida had the audacity to say violence could ‘shake things up’ and force the ‘elite class’ to care about inequality. Oh, the irony! These are the same liberals who scream about social justice but then riot when they don’t get their way. They’re so out of touch, they think violence is the solution to their imagined grievances. And let’s not forget the independent from Missouri, who blames Trump for the rise in potential violence. He’s worried about ‘authoritarianism,’ yet he’s okay with violence as a ‘recourse’? It’s clear these leftists are just looking for any excuse to justify their destructive tendencies.

Republicans Stand for Law and Order

On the other side, Keith Herpy, a Republican from Georgia, sees things differently. He believes the National Guard’s presence isn’t violence but rather a necessary measure to put down insurrections. He’s right—sometimes you need to show force to maintain law and order. Herpy also points out that the Democrats are the real violent ones, citing the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and the celebration of it on social media. It’s a stark reminder that the left’s hypocrisy knows no bounds. They’ll condemn violence when it suits them but celebrate it when it’s against their political enemies.

Herpy’s stance is a breath of fresh air in a sea of liberal nonsense. He understands that violence isn’t the answer but sometimes necessary to protect ourselves from the left’s aggressive tactics. It’s no surprise that Republicans, at 31%, are slightly more likely to see violence as necessary than Democrats. After all, we’re the ones who believe in the rule of law and the Constitution, not in tearing down the system when we don’t get our way. The left’s double standards are on full display here, and it’s time for them to take a hard look in the mirror.

The Real Threat of Political Violence

Robert Pape, a professor at the University of Chicago, warns that we’re in the grip of ‘violent populism.’ He’s concerned that as more people accept violence as a solution, those on the edge might be pushed to act. But let’s be clear: the real threat comes from the left. Historically, right-wing violence has been far outpaced by left-wing violence, but you wouldn’t know it from listening to the mainstream media. From the killing of a Democratic lawmaker in Minnesota to the assassination attempts on Trump, violence is rampant, and it’s the left that’s fueling it.

The poll respondents might not say they’d commit violence themselves, but their acceptance of it is troubling. Pape fears that this could lead to more volatile actors being nudged over the edge. It’s a slippery slope, and the left’s willingness to embrace violence only makes things worse. They claim to be the party of peace, yet they’re the ones inciting riots and attacking conservatives. It’s time for the left to stop playing the victim and start taking responsibility for their actions.

A Decline in Trust and a Call to Action

This rise in acceptance of violence mirrors a decline in trust in politics and political institutions. It’s no wonder, given the left’s constant attacks on our system of government. They’ll do anything to delegitimize Trump’s presidency, even if it means tearing down the very foundations of our democracy. But we won’t let them. It’s time for conservatives to stand up and fight back against this dangerous trend. We need to restore trust in our institutions and show the left that violence isn’t the answer.

The left’s hypocrisy is on full display here. They claim to be the party of peace and love, yet they’re the ones advocating for violence. It’s time for them to take a hard look in the mirror and realize that their actions are tearing this country apart. We can’t let them win. We need to stand strong, defend our values, and show the left that violence isn’t the way to fix America. It’s time to take our country back, and we’ll do it the right way—with ballots, not bullets.
